Mr. Sachdev most recently served as CEO of a global specialty chemicals company, Platform Specialty Products Corporation from January 2016 to 2019. Prior to that, Rakesh led Sigma Aldrich Corporation, a leading global life sciences and technology company as its President and CEO from 2010 until 2016 and earlier served as their CFO for two years. From 1999 to 2008, Rakesh held executive positions at Arvin Meritor Inc, a global supplier of automotive systems and components, including President of Asia, SVP of Strategy and VP/GM of several of their global businesses. Previously he acquired 18 years of senior management experience with Cummins Inc., a global engine and power systems manufacturer, in various leadership roles, including CFO of its automotive business and Managing Director in Mexico.
Mr. Sachdev received his B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi in 1977, his M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign in 1981 and his M.B.A from Indiana University in 1986. Mr. Sachdev is currently Chairman of the Board of Regal-Beloit Corporation (NYSE: RBC), and serves as a board member of Edgewell Personal Care Company (NYSE: EPC) and Axalta Coating Systems (NYSE: AXTA). He is also the current Chairman of Actylis, a board member of ILC Dover and Ascensus Technologies, and has in the past served as a board member of Avantor Inc (NYSE: AVTR), a board member and Chair of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis and a Board of Trustee of Washington University in St. Louis.
Sal Guccione is an Executive Advisor to New Mountain Capital, LLC. He is also Executive Chairman of The Emmes Company, LLC, a clinical stage contract research organization advancing pharmaceutical and public health research. Mr Guccione brings more than 30 years of leadership experience, including CEO, CFO and strategic planning/M&A in the specialty chemicals and pharmaceutical ingredients industries. He was President and Chief Executive Officer of Actylis (formerly Aceto) until 2017. Prior to that, he was CEO of WIL Research Laboratories. Mr. Guccione was also Executive Vice President, Strategy, Chief Financial Officer and Vice President, Corporate Development of Cambrex Corporation, a leading active pharmaceutical ingredients company and CDMO. Prior to that, he was Vice President, General Manager of ISP Personal Care Ingredients, a global developer, manufacturer and marketer of specialty chemical ingredients for the personal care industry.
Mr. Guccione holds a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from Lehigh University and an MBA in Finance from New York University's Stern School of Business.
From 2015 to 2020, Chris O'Connell was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Waters Corporate. Prior to joining Waters, Mr. O'Connell held roles of increasing responsibility at Medtronic from 1995 to 2015 where he finally assumed a role as executive vice president and group president. He joined the board of Actylis in 2021 and brings broad expertise in life sciences and medical devices and a passion for innovation, people, and sustainable growth. He is also Chairman of the Board at Covaris.
Mr. O'Connell was named #36 on Forbes 2019 list of America's most innovative leaders. He serves on the board of visitors of Northwestern University's College of Arts and Sciences, board of advisors of Northwestern University's Chemistry of Life Processes Institute, and advisory board of the Ron Burton Training Village. Mr. O'Connell holds a BA from Northwestern University and MBA from Harvard University.
Frank Bergonzi has over 34 years of experience in the specialty chemical industry. He is the CEO and President of Azelis Americas, a distributor of specialty chemicals and food ingredients. Previously, he served as CEO and President of KODA Distribution Group. Frank led the acquisition of KODA by Azelis, creating a global specialty company with €1.5 billion in sales, which he continues to lead. Prior to KODA, he was Director, Corporate Distribution, at BASF, one of the world's leading chemical producers. He also held key management positions with Fortune 100 Companies, such as Dow Chemical, Witco Corporation, OSi Specialties, and Union Carbide. He is a former Board Member of the NACD and served as Chairman of the Supplier Advisory Panel, in addition to his role as a Board Trustee of the Chemical Education Fund. He is an active member of the Chemical Club of New England (CCNE), the Society of Cosmetic Chemists (SCC), the American Coatings Association (ACA), and the Drug, Chemical and Associated Technologies Association (DCAT). He is also a member of the Azelis Board of Directors and the Actylis Board of Directors. He graduated UConn with a B.S. in chemical engineering in 1983.
Charles Kummeth joined New Mountain as a Senior Advisor in 2024. He is the President and CEO of Bio-Techne Corporation, a leading developer and manufacturer of high-quality purified proteins, antibodies, immunoassays, and instruments for biomedical researchers and clinical research laboratories. Previously, Mr. Kummeth was at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. as President of Mass Spectrometry and Chromatography and President of the Laboratory Consumables Division. Prior to Thermo Fisher Scientific, he served in various roles during his 24-year career at 3M Corporation, most recently as the Vice President of the company's Medical Division.
Mr. Kummeth serves on the boards of Bio-Techne; Gentherm, a developer of thermal management technologies; PerkinElmer, a maker of instrumentation, consumables and Software servicing the analytical needs of the food and environmental markets, and Actylis, a global solutions provider specializing in streamlining the management of critical ingredients and raw materials.
Mr. Kummeth received a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of North Dakota, an MS in Computer Science from the University of St. Thomas and an MBA from the Carlson School of Business at the University of Minnesota.
Lori Koch is the CEO at DuPont. Prior to this appointment, Lori served as Chief Financial Officer, where she played a leading role in reshaping the company's portfolio for higher growth and profitability, driving operational discipline, and implementing a balanced financial policy. From November 2022 until being named CEO, she also led DuPont's corporate businesses which are primarily focused on the fast-growing electric vehicle market. Before serving as CFO, Lori served as Vice President, Investor Relations and Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis since June 2019. She joined the company in 2003.
She currently serves on the Board of Directors of Actylis, a New Mountain Capital LLC portfolio company, and she is on the Board of Visitors for the Smeal College of Business at Penn State University.
Lori holds an M.S. in Accounting from Babson College and a B.S. in Finance and International Business from Penn State University.
